Amanda Serrano is a Puerto Rican professional boxer. She has been a unified featherweight world champion for several years and has also held the WBC and IBO titles. Her fighting style is influenced by her wrestling background and she is a highly respected mixed martial arts fighter as well.

Background

Serrano is one of the most dominant women in boxing. She has fought across numerous weight classes, gaining wins in every one of them. In fact, she is the only Puerto Rican boxer to hold more than four different titles in her career.

She is also a professional wrestler. Although she hasn’t been in the ring in a while, she’s still got a heavy hand. With her devastating power, she is one of the most feared and respected fighters in the world.

She is currently the WBO Featherweight World Champion. As such, she will undoubtedly be the number-one pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Considering that she’s been the best in her division for the last decade, it’s no surprise that she would be given a high profile fight at Madison Square Garden.

Amanda Serrano was born in Puerto Rico, but raised in Brooklyn. She’s a natural athlete. Her first-ever boxing bout happened when she was an amateur.

Professional boxing career

If you’re a fan of women’s boxing, you’ll be familiar with Amanda Serrano. She’s one of the most accomplished and successful female fighters in the world. With nine major world titles and a number of knockouts in her bag, she’s no doubt one of the best female boxers to ever take the sport by storm.

Born in Puerto Rico, Serrano moved to New York with her family when she was a child. As a teenager, she attended Bushwick High School in Brooklyn.

During her amateur career, Serrano won the Empire State amateur championship in 2008. She was also crowned the 2008 Staten Island amateur champion.

In 2009, she made her professional boxing debut and earned a 9-1 record. She won the 81st New York Daily News Golden Gloves tournament. The next year, she won the WBO featherweight title, making her the first woman in history to hold all four of the major world championships in the same weight class.

Mixed martial arts career

Amanda Serrano is a former boxer who has recently switched to mixed martial arts. She has had a successful career in the sport, having won numerous belts, and even winning two world titles.

Serrano is an outstanding fighter and could be the next big thing in women’s boxing. She is also known for her relaxed enthusiasm, which is something that she has instilled in her fights. The 29-year-old has also won 29 fights inside the distance.

In October 2018, she beat Erendira Ordonez by submission with a rear-naked choke. Before the fight, she visited Pearl Gonzalez, a fellow Brooklynite, for sparring.

Serrano has been a fighter for more than a decade. As a child, she moved with her family to New York. She graduated from Bushwick High School in 2006. During her professional career, Serrano has fought in several weight classes. Among the notable are super-flyweight (115lbs) and light-welterweight (140lbs).

Serrano is one of the most dominant women in the sport. She has held titles at every weight class. Currently, she is ranked as the third best active female pound for pound by ESPN. And she has been crowned Female Boxer of the Year twice by the WBO.

The Puerto Rican boxer is a former amateur champion. She won the Empire State amateur title and was a New York City Golden Gloves winner. Since turning pro in 2009, Serrano has won a total of 40 fights with a record of 38-1-1.

She has a knockout ratio of 30-3. Her recent wins include four knockouts in her last seven fights. This is a huge achievement for a woman who is just 29 years old.

Amanda Serrano is a member of Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. She signed to the company’s stable in December 2017. In her first fight for the company, Serrano won a four-round decision over Corina Herrera.

Serrano was introduced to boxing by her sister, Cindy. Her sister is a successful boxer, married to Maldonano.
