His mother enrolled him in the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. He had his first taste of acting when he was two and a half years old. However, his parents separated when he was a toddler.

Despite the separation, Leonardo stayed close to his father. They reunited in 2004 for Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator. It was a critical and commercial success.

In addition to his film career, Leonardo has also spoken out about environmental issues. He has criticized global warming.

Leonardo has dated several famous women. He has dated actresses such as Gisele Bundchen, Toni Garrn, and Bar Refaeli. One of his most notable relationships was with Blake Lively.

Several years later, he was starring in a slew of independent films. He teamed up with Martin Scorsese for two films, “Gangs of New York”(2002) and “The Aviator” (2004). He has also starred in the biographical drama J. Edgar (2011). Throughout his acting career, he has garnered critical acclaim for his dramatic performances.

Among his many other awards, he received a Golden Globe nomination for the film Danny Archer. This was the third time that he was nominated for the prestigious honor. Besides, he also was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild for his performance in the movie.

Passion for environmental issues

Leo DiCaprio is an accomplished actor, but his passion for environmental issues extends far beyond the realm of Hollywood.
