What does Blue Spirulina Powder contain

Blue spirulina powder contains a variety of nutrients that are beneficial to the body. It contains Vitamin B12, Protein, Nitric Oxide, and Antiviral properties. It is a good source of many essential nutrients, and may be an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids. There are a few side effects to be aware of when using this product.

Vitamin B12

There are numerous benefits of spirulina supplements, including improved cardiovascular health, lowered blood pressure, and improved blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The powder is also an excellent source of iron and contains more calcium than milk. Almost every nutrient in the body can be found in small amounts in spirulina, making it a good addition to a balanced diet.

Earlier, spirulina was considered a good source of Vitamin B12, but tests used in the past found it to be mostly B12 analogues, and thus not an effective source of B12. However, recent studies have shown that it contains up to 30% of B12.

Protein

The protein in Blue Spirulina Powder has been studied for its benefits in various health conditions. This algae is a good source of antioxidants and helps to normalise blood lipids. It can reduce cholesterol levels and improve blood pressure. Moreover, it can regulate blood glucose levels.

The protein in Blue Spirulina Powder helps your body fight off infections and improves your immune system. It also helps to stimulate the production of antibodies, which helps the body fight diseases. Phycocyanin, which is found in Blue Spirulina, has powerful antioxidant properties. It helps the body fight off free radicals, which is a primary cause of many health problems.

Another important benefit of Spirulina is that it contains iron and copper, two of the most important minerals for the body. These two minerals support normal body functions and help build red blood cells. Additionally, the powder contains many B vitamins, which are essential for the health of the gut and brain.

Nitric oxide

The amino acid L-arginine, which is found in high amounts in spirulina, is an essential part of the production of nitric oxide. However, getting enough spirulina in your diet can be a challenge. The easiest way to include spirulina in your daily diet is to drink a green juice with a good amount of spirulina powder. Another great way to boost your nitric oxide levels is to eat dark chocolate.

Studies conducted in mice and rats have shown that spirulina supplementation reduces blood pressure. Interestingly, it has been shown to increase relaxation response in aortic rings of diabetic rats. Furthermore, it has been shown to enhance the function of endothelial cells and decrease vascular reactivity.

Antiviral

The blue-green alga Spirulina powder has antiviral properties, which may be an important benefit for the treatment of influenza. The antiviral activity of this algae may be related to its ability to inhibit the replication of viruses and prevent the plaque formation associated with influenza viruses. Furthermore, spirulina extract inhibits the growth of influenza virus strains resistant to oseltamivir.

Antiviral activity has also been found in the extracts of spirulina and green tea. Both compounds inhibit virus entry into host cells by binding to viral glycoproteins and host cell receptors. Spirulina inhibits the entry of enveloped viruses such as influenza and HCV. Inhibition of VSV and HIV is also observed.

Anticancer

Blue Spirulina Powder is a high-quality source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. It can also be a great detoxifier for the body. Its unique lack of cell walls makes it easily digestible. Some studies have even suggested that it may help fight cancer.

Spirulina also has anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to stimulate the production of IgM, the major component of the adaptive immune system. It plays a key role in recognizing and destroying harmful cells and infectious particles. In addition, it exerts a cytotoxic effect on cancer cells by activating the complement cascade. Increasing IgM production could help prevent the growth of cancer cells and guide treatment.

Recent studies have shown that Spirulina can improve the immune system and decrease the severity of myelosuppression after chemotherapy. It also improved the function of the immune system in patients with malignant tumors. Although more research is needed, these initial studies show promising results.
