Negroni

A Negroni is a cocktail you can enjoy before a meal and right after while you’re having dessert. Have you seen that interview clip of House of the Dragons’ Emma D’Arcy talking about her favorite cocktail? If you haven’t then you should, it is iconic and could be the build-up you need before you make yourself a Negroni. To mix one, you need 2oz of Campari, 2oz of gin, and 2oz of sweet vermouth. Just like with the Old Fashioned, you’ll need an orange feel for garnish for this one. Make sure to have an ice cube ready. Best served when cold. Some people swap in the gin with club soda. You can experiment with other ingredients. However, mixing it the usual way never disappoints.

Greyhound

A timeless masterpiece. Greyhound is one of the simplest cocktail recipes known to man. All you need is vodka and grapefruit or grapefruit juice. If you are into sweetness and sourness, a greyhound would provide you with the perfect balance and a very refreshing sip. When shaking it all up, make sure to add ice and wait for the drink to become chilly. Some people tried other fruits or fruit juices but nothing beats a grapefruit for this one.

Moscow Mule

Another vodka-based cocktail and this one from Russia. The other two stars of this cocktail recipe is lime and ginger beer. Mix those all together and then pour some crushed ice and there you have it. With this one, it is recommended you use premium vodka to really get the deep flavor Moscow Mule is known for. If you want to mix things up, you can add muddled berries.

Tom Collins

This is a very strong cocktail and not for people who can’t handle their alcohol. To make this cocktail, you’ll need sugar, gin, club soda, lemon juice, and everything on the rocks. Some people put fruit in it but for people who have been drinking it for a while, no fruit is needed.

All of these cocktail recipes have been featured in dozens of publications so rest assured they are legit. There are hundreds of cocktail recipes out there you can try and enjoy. You are just limited by what you know. So, all you have to do is explore more. And if you are mindful of your health, there are healthy cocktail recipes out there.

Before you do though, make sure that you have the right tools and equipment to make the best cocktail like a cocktail shaker.
