Different Types of Cornrow Braids For Men

There are different types of cornrow braids for men. There are two-row cornrows, slicked-back cornrows, spiral cornrows, and mohawk cornrows. All of them require different techniques, so it’s essential to know how to achieve them correctly.

Two-row cornrows

A two-row cornrow braid is a manly hairstyle. The cornrows are made of loose strands offset by a grid-like pattern at the scalp. Beginners can opt for this style since it is more comfortable. Men with fine or thin hair can also go for this style.

Men can add accessories to their cornrows for an added touch of style. These can be purchased from beauty supply stores. Popular accessories include flowers and cowries. Hair rings are also an attractive addition. You can also add different colors, which will make your hairstyle stand out. Cornrows can also be paired with a drop fade, which is a precision cut. It creates a clean gradient and should be expertly shaped.

A side part is a great option for guys with oval, square or oblong faces. To create the side part, braid two thin plaits along a portion of the undercut. The rest of the hair can be left unbraided. This hairstyle is perfect for guys who want to look bold and unique.

Slicked-back cornrows

Slicked-back cornrows are a versatile hairstyle for men. They can give a man a classic look or a trendy bohemian one. These braids are not only easy to maintain, but they also make a great choice for frizzy hair. Cornrows require several hours of braiding, so they are not the ideal option for everyday wear. But they can be a great choice for parties, too, since they look great and are low-maintenance.

Slicked-back cornrows can be as elaborate or simple as you want. The type of cornrows you choose will depend on your facial structure and the natural volume of your hair. Most men wear thicker braids on the top of their head, while their sides are braided thinner. Men with diamond-shaped faces should avoid simple cornrows.

If you want a more elaborate cornrow style, you can opt for a twisted cornrow style. These cornrows are similar to dreadlocks, but they’re different. Instead of being straight, these braids are twisted to create a braided top that rests at the back of the head.

Spiral cornrows

Cornrow braids are a popular style for men. They give men a stylish, natural look that connects with their ethnic roots. These braids take several hours to create and usually require professional help. These styles are often difficult to maintain, but if you are willing to commit the time, you can have cornrows for up to six weeks.

Cornrow braids can be extremely intricate or simple. This is particularly true for a man with thick hair. If you want a simple, easy-to-manage look, spiral cornrows can be a great option. The design is also extremely versatile, making it a great option for those with busy lifestyles. This braided hairstyle can be styled into different patterns, including a goddess pattern. These braids can be worn in a top knot, bun, or ponytail. They are also very easy to accessorize with beads and trinkets.

Spiral French braids are more complicated to do without a professional. Start at the front of the head, spiraling down to one side. Be sure to take a slight curve when spiraling, so that the spiral is not too straight or diagonal. Once you reach the side of your head, fan the braid out to give it volume. Finally, roll it up into a spiral bun.

Mohawk cornrows

Cornrow braids can be combined with other braid styles to create an intricate pattern. For instance, two small braids placed close to each other look great when contrasted with thick goddess braids. The endless design options of cornrow braids allow you to create an individual style that reflects your personality.

For a unique look, make the braids different in sizes. This doubles the impact of the braids. You can also let the ends fall freely on the back or fold them into a bun. Whether you want a messy, rugged, or modern style, braiding your hair into cornrows will give you a unique look that will turn heads.

Mohawk cornrow braids are easy to style, and you can choose a hair type that will suit your face and lifestyle. If you want something more natural, you can go for Kanekalon hair. It has a natural sheen that makes it perfect for braiding.
