Today, Aloe Vera gel is also widely used for fighting acne due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The gel decreases the redness and swelling on the skin as well as killing the bacteria causing infection.
Directions: Wash your face with water and pat dry. Then apply the gel to the body or affected areas using Q-tip or fingertips. Use aloe vera gel as the moisturizer for your skin. Reapply at least two times a day if you want to get the best out of the aloe vera gel.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is alkaline and balances the pH of the skin, which in turn makes it extremely difficult for bacteria to thrive. It is also important to note that vinegar helps in drying up excess oil which could be the cause of the acne.
Directions: Apple cider vinegar is highly potent, and thus should be diluted before use. Use a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water and then apply the solution directly to the blemish or affected areas. Leave the paste out for at least ten minutes or overnight. If it is during the daytime, reapply several times to enhance the recovery process. Make sure that you have washed the face thoroughly each time.

3. Avocado and Honey Masks

The best masks include a mixture of natural honey with yogurt, cinnamon, avocado, or essential oils amongst other natural ingredients. For the acne condition, avocado and honey mixture is the best mask. Avocado has become increasingly popular in the cosmetic industry due to its numerous health benefits to the skin. Apart from healing the acne, it will also improve the overall health of the skin.
Directions: Apply the mask/paste over the face and smooth it thoroughly, paying attention to the most affected areas, and relax for 10 minutes. Then remove it gently with a damp cloth.

4. Tea Tree Oil

The oils are extractions from the leaves of a rare species of plant called Melaleuca Alternifolia, which is a tree native to Australia. Direction: Mix the oils with water using a ratio of 1 part oil to 9 part water and then apply to the face. Repeat after 1-2 times per day. Do this for a week, and the acne will have faded away without leaving a mark.

5. Regular Exfoliation

However, it is recommended that you avoid commercial scrubs since they are ridden with chemicals. Sea salt, ground oatmeal, and brown sugar are some of the best choices for exfoliation.
Direct: Mix sugar, sea salt or oatmeal with oils (such as coconut oil) and scrub the skin with a mixture and rinse thoroughly. Do it once daily or after two days.
