And with legalization becoming even more widespread, more and more people are starting to incorporate CBD into their everyday lives.

Cannabis used to be known as a recreational drug, but now we're well aware of the health benefits that it has.

First off, what exactly is CBD? The cannabis plant has two main compounds. The first one is THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, which is what gets a person “high.” The other compound is CBD, or cannabidiol, which has a lot of therapeutic and medical benefits.

One of the most common misconceptions is that using CBD products will get you high. However, CBD products actually contain less than 0.3 percent THC, which doesn’t have the psychoactive effects. This means that you’ll have no problem going about your day if you use CBD.

How do you incorporate CBD into your routine?

CBD oil is a common way to reap from the benefits of the cannabis plant.

CBD products mainly come in the form of sprays, droppers, patches, and creams. The effectiveness of these products depend on what you’re using them for, so it’s a good idea to know what benefits you want before you buy any CBD products.

1. Use CBD to deal with stress and anxiety

CBD is a godsend for people who are dealing with stress and anxiety. Once you start to incorporate CBD in your routine, you’ll quickly notice that your stress levels will start to go down, and you’ll be less anxious.

That’s because CBD can help slow down your heart rate and clear your mind. A good way to use CBD this way is through sprays or droppers that are applied underneath the tongue.

2. Use it to manage pain

For those who suffer from chronic aches and pains, CBD has been known to improve their quality of life. You can even use CBD for stuff like sore muscles, or stiffness after working out.

For instant relief, you can use CBD creams or ointments if you have aches in your joints or sore muscles. For headaches and other types of pain, you can use CBD sprays or droppers, and apply it underneath the tongue.

3. Use it to sleep better

If you’re suffering from insomnia, or you find it difficult to sleep eight hours each day, using a CBD tincture can greatly improve the quality of your sleep.

A CBD tincture is essentially concentrated CBD with almost no THC. Using a couple of drops before you go to bed can clear your mind, calm you down and give you a good night’s sleep.

4. Use CBD to prevent acne

A lot of adults still suffer from acne breakouts and flare-ups, and it can be embarrassing and affect your self-esteem.

Using a small amount of CBD oil on the affected area can help relieve the redness and soreness, as well as prevent any breakouts in the future. This is all because of CBD’s anti-inflammatory effects.

However, make sure to rub any excess CBD off your skin since it can be irritating if left too long or if you use a lot.

5. It’s good for your sex life

Lastly, CBD has been known to help some men who have trouble with premature ejaculation.

You can actually buy CBD lube, which helps reduce inflammation and make you last longer. Using CBD sprays or oils orally can also help clear your mind of any thoughts which can be causing premature ejaculation.

The calming effect of CBD also comes into play, as being too stressed, tired, or thinking about a lot of things can cause a man’s performance in bed to suffer.
