The people that you are friends with can have a direct impact on your mental health. For example, if you are friends with people who don’t raise you up and are constantly complaining about their lives, you are going to have a hard time becoming a success. Conversely, if you are with positive people who are always encouraging you to be the best possible version of yourself, you will find it easier to have a successful and more confident life. There’s no shame in cutting out friends who you feel are toxic or are not helping you with your growth.
